Wedding questions
Is this a wedding photo booth?
It does a photo booth’s job in a different way. There’s no booth camera or backdrop: guests take photos on their own phones and collect prints from a compact print station. If you want posed portraits against a backdrop, a conventional booth suits you better.
Do we still need a wedding photographer?
Monotone collects the photos your guests take. For ceremony coverage, couple portraits and formal family photos, you’ll still want a wedding photographer.
Can guests who aren’t comfortable using their phones take part?
Yes. They can join a group photo on a friend or family member’s phone. Someone at their table can also help them scan the QR code and take a photo.
Can we arrange extra prints for ourselves?
Yes. Let us know that you’d like copies for yourselves when you enquire. We’ll include the agreed extra prints in your quote.
Can the photo receipts be our wedding favours?
Yes. Guests keep every print they collect, so the photo receipts can double as a favour. Our wedding favours guide compares prints with edible gifts and useful objects.
How much space does the station need at our venue?
A small square table and one power socket are enough. Wi-Fi is ideal, but we can run on mobile data. Setup takes about 15 minutes.
