What do current advertised packages include?
These are two advertised examples, not a Singapore-wide average or a ranking. iSnap gives a wedding package; The Photo Booth lists a starting range across formats. Both pages were rechecked on 12 September 2026. Confirm availability and the total for your date.
| Supplier | Price and time | Includes | Confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| iSnap | S$600 / three hours | 4R guest copies, assistant, design, backdrop and digital photos. | Final total, access and design revisions. |
| The Photo Booth | From S$500–S$800 / two hours | Delivery, setup, operator, props, prints and digital copies. | Format, copy policy, backdrop extras and total. |
Ask for the final payable total, including any applicable GST and charges for your venue or requirements.
Why can two quotes for the same wedding differ?
Different suppliers may be pricing different work. One may include an attendant throughout, while another offers equipment hire. One may provide guest copies and a digital collection, while another specifies a single print per group.
Before comparing totals, place these details side by side:
- Photos and prints: are you comparing the same appearance and format? The photo booth format comparison shows the differences.
- Guest hours: when can guests participate, excluding setup and billed idle time?
- Staffing: who stays, and do they help guests as well as operate equipment?
- Copies: is the allowance per photo, group, participant or event?
- Design: what changes, and how many proofs or revisions are included?
- Access: does the total cover your address, arrival window and teardown time?
- Digital delivery: which files or guestbook access do you receive, and when?
If a supplier recommends another station, ask what problem it solves for your arrival pattern and available time. A crowded arrival window and a full afternoon need different plans, even with the same guest count.
For example, if you want three hours, ask the two-hour supplier to price the extra hour before comparing totals. If you want a print for every friend in a group, ask both suppliers to quote that same copy policy.
What could increase the final bill?
Ask which of these changes would cost extra under your package.
- Extra time: agree the extension price, billing interval and who can approve it.
- Early setup: ask whether a gap before guest use costs extra.
- More or different prints: confirm the included copies, sizes and price of changes.
- Additional artwork: agree proofs, revisions and the design deadline.
- Difficult access: check delivery, stairs, parking and late collection charges.
- Date or venue changes: read postponement, cancellation and revised-quote terms.
Ask for an amount against any addition you need. Keep optional extensions separate from the amount you expect to pay, and agree who can approve extra time on the day.
Does “unlimited printing” mean everyone gets a copy?
Not necessarily. Ask the supplier to describe its copy policy using a group photograph: if four friends take a photo, how many prints can they collect? Then ask whether a separate copy for your guestbook is included.
Even without a per-copy charge, cameras, printers and collection points have practical limits. An unlimited-print offer does not promise that every guest can finish within a short reception window.
Would DIY cost less?
It may, particularly if you already own suitable equipment and want a simple experience. Include supplies, transport, signs and any paid help in the calculation, then identify who will operate it while the wedding is happening.
The DIY versus hiring guide covers the equipment and help you would need. Compare that complete setup with a staffed package.
How is a Monotone wedding quoted?
Monotone for weddings prepares a quote for your date, venue, hours, prints and design. Ask for a sample receipt alongside the total so you can judge the keepsake as well as the price.
Guests take photos for the guestbook on their own phones, add an optional note or drawing, and collect a custom black-and-white photo receipt. The digital guestbook keeps their photos and messages together.
Your quote covers the agreed printing service, copies and digital guestbook. A conventional booth may suit you better if you want studio lighting, a backdrop or colour photo-paper prints.
See how booking with Monotone works for the enquiry, design approval and event arrangements.
Monotone pricing explains the service inclusions and the details that shape your quote. Use those when comparing the complete service with equipment hire or a conventional booth.
What should you send for a useful quote?
A short, consistent brief helps each supplier price the same request. It also makes differences in their proposed service easier to spot.
- Wedding date, venue and estimated guest count.
- Guest arrival pattern and the hours you want guests to use the booth.
- Setup access, programme pauses and expected teardown time.
- A sample of the print style you want and your copy requirements.
- The design work and digital collection you would like included.
- The venue contact and any confirmed space or access restrictions.
Ask for a sample print alongside the price. Before paying a deposit, use the photo booth vendor checklist to check the service and booking terms.
More about photo booth prices
Is a cheaper photo booth necessarily worse?
No. It may provide exactly the format and service you need. Compare a sample, hours, staff responsibilities and copies. A higher price is useful only if the differences matter to your wedding.
Is the cost always based on guest count?
No. Duration, format, staffing, design and access can also affect a quote. Guest count helps a supplier propose a setup, but the arrival pattern and programme determine when people can actually use it.
Should we book extra hours just in case?
First identify the windows when guests and the couple can participate. Then ask about extension availability and price. Additional paid time is only helpful if guests can use the booth during it.
