Which photo booth idea suits your corporate event?
Match the idea to the occasion. The event decides what the print should say and when colleagues are free to join.
| Event | Idea that fits | What makes it work |
|---|---|---|
| Year-end or Christmas party | The year and team name on every print | Busiest at arrival and after the lucky draw |
| Dinner and Dance | A print that matches the theme | Keep it open through dinner |
| Company anniversary | The milestone and logo on every print | Collect messages for a digital book |
| Product launch | The product or campaign line on the print | Place it where guests linger |
| Offsite or family day | Team names or the event name | Guests take photos anywhere; the station needs a sheltered spot with power |
Most of these come down to two choices: what the print says and how long it runs. Settle both before you compare suppliers.
Year-end and Christmas parties
Colleagues don't stay in their seats at a year-end party. The photo booth is busiest at arrival and after the lucky draw, stays in use through dinner, and goes quiet during speeches, awards and the draw itself.
- Print the company name and year, such as “Team 2026”
- Invite each department to take a group photo before dinner
- Keep the photos in a digital book for the year-end newsletter
December dates fill quickly, so enquire early once your venue and date are confirmed.
Choosing what to pair with the photos? Our office Christmas party activities include gift exchanges, team quizzes and workshops, with suggestions for a lunch or a longer afternoon.
Dinner and Dance
At a D&D, the theme does the work. Match the print to the theme and put the station where colleagues gather before dinner. The Dinner and Dance photobooth page covers timing, artwork approval and who handles what.
Still choosing activities for the night? Our D&D fringe activities guide compares photo booths with games, performers and other options.
Company anniversaries and milestones
An anniversary is a chance to collect something the company keeps. Put the milestone and logo on every print, and invite colleagues to add a short message about a favourite memory at work.
Afterwards, the photos and messages sit together in a digital guestbook you can share with the team. If you plan to use them in public posts, tell colleagues beforehand.
For ways to celebrate alongside the photos, our company anniversary ideas cover montages, staff recognition and contributions from colleagues in other offices.
Product launches and brand events
At a launch, the print carries your message out of the room. A product name or campaign line on every print gives guests something to keep. Place the station where people wait or linger, not at a crowded entrance.
Monotone brands the print, not a booth structure. There are no wraps, backdrops or campaign screens, so if your brief needs those, a dedicated brand activation supplier will suit you better.
Branded photo receipts from colleagues' own phones
With Monotone for corporate events, colleagues scan your event QR code and take photos in their phone browser, so no one queues for one camera. Each photo prints as a custom black-and-white receipt with your artwork, about 10 seconds after it's sent.
An operator sets up in about 15 minutes, runs the printer and packs down afterwards. Browse company receipt designs to see how a logo and event details sit on the print.
What should the committee sort out first?
- Agree your event hours
- Send your logo and artwork early, with a date for design approval
- Confirm a small table, one power socket and internet access with the venue
- Tell attendees that photos will be taken, and why
- Decide who can see the digital guestbook afterwards
For private functions, Singapore's PDPC suggests telling attendees that photos will be taken and for what purpose, for example in the invitation or with a notice at the entrance. Check the details with your HR or data protection officer.
More about corporate photo booths
How long should a corporate photo booth run?
Most companies cover the whole event, from arrival to the end of the programme, because colleagues keep using it through dinner. Tell us your event hours and we'll quote for them.
Can we use our company logo on the prints?
Yes. Your logo, event name, date and artwork can go on every print, and the Monotone mark can be removed. Send the artwork early so there's time to approve the layout.
How many colleagues can take part?
Colleagues take photos on their own phones at the same time. For larger events, we'll recommend the number of print stations based on your headcount and timings.
